- Goodyear stitched boots handcrafted in Portugal
- Our Goodyear-stitched shoes are made in Benedita, north of Lisbon, in a small, specialized traditional workshop that has been in existence for over 50 years. Twenty-five highly-skilled craftsmen work with passion to produce just under forty pairs of shoes a day. This construction, also known as "welt assembly", relies on the use of the so-called welt, which is sewn to both the upper part of the shoe (the upper) and its sole, making it waterproof and resoleable. This is the quintessential high-end assembly.
- The calf leather used to make this boot comes from one of Italy's most famous tanneries, supplying the great luxury houses for decades. Received in its raw state, its deep nuances are obtained by the meticulous work of our master bootmaker, specialized in the know-how of patina. Over a period of almost thirty minutes, a skilful blend of our different shades is handcrafted to obtain the subtle variations in tone that make each pair unique.
- Cowhide leather lining
- This pair features a Goodyear-stitched rubber sole, ultra-resistant and slip-resistant to adapt to your needs while optimizing your comfort. Made from 100% natural rubber, they are flexible and breathable. It will accompany you in all situations and keep your feet dry. With excellent waterproofing, it will resist abrasion for optimum durability.
- Supplied with a travel pouch for each shoe, in a box made of paper from FSC-certified forests.
